My Inspiration
Colby W.
The man that has inspired me is my dad. I would not be the same person I a today with out him. My father taught me the most important lesson I know and that is never stop dreaming. My dad has the greatest patience in the world, we head up to the mountains every week and the drive is long and the car is full and my brothers and me are packed in the back seat fighting like sardines vacuum-packed in a can on there home to be eaten by a fierce house cat.
My dad taught me that to achieve your dreams you need to always believe in your self. My dream is to be a pro football player and my dad helps me by doing drills after football practice and school. I could not ski but my dad told me a secret and now I can ski double black diamonds. My dad always has time for my two brothers, Jake and Kyle.
My dad cut his leg open skiing and after that he told us to not be afraid to live life to the fullest. My dad chose for use to grow up and live in Colorado because the majestic mountains. My dad would do something fun with us every weekend. He would take use to remote mountain locations and we would have to get back home by a dirt bike or bike. If we cannot do something by dad will not force me to do something that is too hard. When we are older my dad will take us to Moab, Utah for a dirt biking trip.
My dad is my friend and mentor. He has very high expectations for us if we got C’s we would be in trouble. My dad is so nice to us. When I have no one to hang out with my dad is there. In the beginning of 5th grade I struggled but he helped me by studying with me after school. I got caught up and now I am one of the best in my class at math. My father is intact with his family and knows what’s best for us
Those are some great reasons how my dad changed my life. My dad is the nicest man in the universe. As long as I’m still breathing I know my dad will be with me guiding me in the right direction. He is my guiding light
